California reportedly wants to spend $19 million in taxpayer money on a PR campaign to improve the state’s image.

That’s not fixing the image. That’s hiring a photographer while the house is on fire.

Reports say millions would go toward advertising, media placement, production, and agency costs to push back on stories about crime, homelessness, high costs, and businesses leaving the state.

Which is honestly the most California thing imaginable. The problems become branding issues instead of actual problems.
